We are currently looking to recruit a Trainee to join our Supply Chain Finance Controlling Team in Gdańsk.

How you will make an impact

In this role, you will support daily controlling and reporting tasks, while helping the Team ensure accurate financial data and smooth month-end processes. Your main responsibilities will include
  • Support month-end closing activities.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly financial postings accurately and on time.
  • Maintain tools used for cost allocation and accounting data review.
  • Take part in team activities and initiatives.

You may also support other tasks assigned by your direct supervisor.

What will make you successful

To succeed in this role, you should have a solid interest in finance and accounting, strong analytical skills and a proactive, open-minded approach. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys working with data and feels comfortable collaborating with others in a dynamic environment.
  • You are studying or have completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
  • You have a good understanding of accounting principles and good Excel skills.
  • You communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken, and have good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with SAP or another ERP system would be an advantage.
  • You are analytical, accurate and attentive to detail, with a business-oriented mindset.
  • You are proactive, self-driven and flexible, with a strong can-do attitude and eagerness to learn.
  • You are a team player with good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Please note that this role requires you to be in the office 50% of the time + one additional day (monthly).
